- Business: I am an international singer, songwriter, producer and actor known for my 13 CD releases ranging from original melodic indie Rock/Pop to Latin/Easy Listening and Jazzy Swing (available on iTunes). I regularly perform in the Western Cape and in Gauteng at concerts, festivals, corporate events, weddings and functions (e.g. Kirstenbosch, City Hall, etc.). My songs are being played worldwide, reaching No.1 in the UK, Holland, SA and Germany and I have acted in major international feature films and local TV programmes. Rock legend David bowie awarded my songs repeatedly as ‘top song of the month’ on his website. In 2006 I was voted one of the top five singers in SA and I’m resident entertainer at three of the most prestigious five-star hotels in Cape Town (e.g. Cape Grace). I’m sponsored by top UK fashion designer Jagadi Haute Couture and I am currently promoting a brand-new original Swing/Jazz/Latin CD called Siren Terpsichore (2013).
- About me: I studied music and acting in SA, Germany and Holland before spending six years in London, fronting rock bands, performing in musicals and running my label Mosquito Records London. In 2005 I returned to SA where I married my magnificent wife Madri le Roux-Moriz. We live together in Hout Bay with ’brand-new’ baby-daughter Sofia Marie, 4-year- old Kateline and kitty Tamsonite.

- My ’love’list: I love people and building bridges between them. There is nothing as fascinating as human nature, except the gloriously vague expression on the face of a cat. I have a zest for French food (La Colombe, Aubergine, Foodbarn) and SA wines (Eagles Nest Viognier, Fairview). I adore SA’s breathtakingly beautiful and diverse climate and nature and I enjoy capturing glimpses of its beauty on camera. My pictures get published regularly. The ’Ike’s thumb’ rock formation I photographed on Chapman’s Peak was named after me. I love sailing, hiking and long beach walks which often inspire my songwriting.
